The Tomorrow’s America Discussion Series
The Tomorrow’s America Discussion Series is designed to air on community television outlets nationwide and for long-term use via the Internet. Each 30-minute program produced by Contemporary Learning Systems, Inc. features provocative commentary from a nationally recognized expert on a particular aspect of today’s immigration debate.
The shows are comprised of several commentary segments followed by discussion by a panel of local citizens. The panel is hosted by Dr. George Colburn, the director of the Tomorrow’s America project.
The Tomorrow’s America Discussion Series is produced at UpNorth Media Center in Traverse City, MI. Episodes of the program can be viewed live on UpNorthTV and on Charter Communications Cable channel 97 (analog) and channels 2 and 992 (digital) on the following schedule:
- Tuesday at 6:00pm
- Friday at 8:00am
- Sunday at 1:00pm
New episodes are released monthly, and past episodes are available for viewing on-demand on the UpNorthTV website or on the Tomorrow’s America website. Select an episode from the list on the right to view a past episode or a preview of an upcoming episode, and find information about the topics discussed in each episode.
The Tomorrow’s America Discussion Series is also available for syndication to local community access producers across the country, who are interested in engaging in a discussion of immigration in their communities.
